Celeste D. (Dedig) Vogel

Celeste D. (Dedig) Vogel , 95, of Indianapolis, IN passed away November 5, 2020. She was born in Pittsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Agnes (Bicker) and Christ Dedig. Survivors include her sons, Michael W. (Kim) Vogel, Christopher C. (Rita) Vogel; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one cousin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter M. Vogel; sister, Agnes Rimlinger; brother-in-law, Joe Rimlinger.

Celeste retired from Southport Elementary School in 1990 where she worked as a secretary. She worked with the Perry Township Religious Education and was a member of Toastmistress.

Celeste enjoyed ceramics. She loved her kids and grandkids, and her dogs and cats. Donuts were one of her favorite things. “There are no bad donuts.”

Graveside Services will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at the Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery, Greenwood, IN at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Williams.
