Cassandra (Candy) Jewel French, 60, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on March 2, 2026, in Greenfield, Indiana. Born on July 25, 1965, in Martinsville, Indiana, Candy was known for her radiant spirit and infectious warmth that touched the lives of everyone she met.
Candy cherished the time she spent living in Florida, where she embraced the sunshine and the vibrant outdoor lifestyle it offered. Her true joy, however, came from her deep love for her family. She adored her husband, the love of her life, Charles French, who preceded her in death, and together they built a life filled with love. Beyond her devotion to her husband, Candy was a proud mother to her daughter, Taylor (John) Emberson, and a stepmother to Nikki (Dee) Clark, and three grandchildren.
Her bond with her siblings was equally important; she shared fond memories with her sisters, Lori (Doyle) Jacobs and Jeannette Evans, as well as her brothers, Billy (Bonnie) Christian and Mark Allen. Candy will be remembered by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in her honor at 2 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Drexel Gardens Apostolic Tabernacle in Indianapolis, Indiana.Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of Candy, reflecting on the cherished memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
Arrangements handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, 1444 W. US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, Indiana, 46130.
