Carolyn S. Anderson (Stewart)

Carolyn S. Anderson (Stewart) , September 16, 1943 - June 9, 2024, 80, of New Palestine, Indiana, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving husband & two daughters, on June 9, 2024. She was born in Greencastle, Indiana, to the late Everett Stewart & Geneva Garrett. Carolyn was a devoted wife of 62 years to Richard Anderson & loving mother to her two daughters.

Carolyn will be remembered as a devoted homemaker, always present for her family & loved ones. She was known for her giving & nurturing nature, & her heart of gold touched the lives of all who knew her. Carolyn's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, including her five granddaughters & four great-grandchildren, whom she adored.

In addition to her husband, Richard Anderson, Carolyn is survived by her daughters Lisa (Rod) Sears & Michelle (Steve Mohr) Anderson, her grandchildren (Lauren Sears, Lindsay Garrett, Lily Sears, Chelsey Mohr & Carlee Mohr), & great-grandchildren (Jadon, Jaxon, Laila & Bowen). She is also survived by her brother, William R. Stewart (SIL Denise Stewart), & half-siblings Gary Stewart, Bobby Stewart, & Cathy Stewart of Montezuma, IN.

Carolyn's warm and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Carolyn's Life will be held on June 30th, 2024, at the family's home.
