Carol Ann (Hughes) Benson

Carol Ann (Hughes) Benson , 50, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away August 31, 2020. She was born in Fort Wayne to parents Charlene (Meadows) Buckland and Vaughn Hughes. Survivors include her fiancé, Scott Gilliom; son, Collin L. Benson; daughters, Kylie R. Benson, Katie J. Benson; father, Vaughn O. Hughes; ex-husband, Bruce W. Benson; four aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Buckland; and grandparents, Naomi and Arnold Meadows, Viola and Virgil Hughes.

Carol earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Arts. She was employed at the Fort Wayne Journal.

Carol loved to dance (tap and jazz), cooking, growing flowers, decorating and animals.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
