Carl Meece

Carl Meece, 88, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away October 3, 2026.  Carl was born in Somerset, Kentucky on April 1, 1938. 

Survivors include nieces, Terri Thompson, Sherrye Beckett, Cynthia Pumphey, Paul Flynn and Tina Morris. 

Carl is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Jeannette Snavely Meece; his parents, Onie  and Zelma Meece; his twin brother Carroll Meece and his sister Marion Evans Meece. 

Carl lived most of his life in Indianapolis working for General Motors until he retired. When Carl was younger, he enjoyed riding his mortorcycle.  He loved his dog, Princess.  

He was an avid collector of toys, cars, trucks and trains.  His favorite pastimes were roaming flea markets and sitting at Cracker Barrel and Waffle House.  

Carl was a longtime member of the Church of God of Prophecy on Hoyt Avenue. 

There is no memorial service but burial will be in Somerset Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky, October 14, 2026.
