Billy E. Sevier

Billy E. Sevier, 88, of New Palestine, IN passed away June 6, 2017. He was born in Freelandville, IN on December 29, 1928 to parents Mary (Powers) and Paul Sevier. Survivors include wife, D. Jannis Sevier; son, David (Linda) Sevier; daughter, Rhonda (Mark) Bonham; grandchildren, Cory, Brad, Kara, Heather, Jason; eleven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul Sevier Jr., Norman James Sevier, Jerry Wayne Sevier.
He worked for Duke Energy for 44 years, retiring in 1991. Billy was a member of Masonic Lodge 404 and American Legion Post 182.
Masonic Services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN. Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. A Military Service will follow the Masonic Services.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, 3519 South 600 West, New Palestine, IN 46163. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Havel.
