Betty Carol (Hood) Kennedy
, 79, of New Palestine, IN, passed away on January 4, 2018 in Indianapolis.
Betty was born in Scottsville, KY on May 25, 1938, a daughter of the late Verado Lee (Meodor) and Arthur Graves Hood.
Survivors include son; Mark (Marianne) Kennedy, Grandchildren; Alan D. (Tabitha) Kennedy, Stephanie L. Kennedy, Jeremy E. (Leigh) Devine, Pamela S. (Jason) Brooks, Stephanie L. Devine, Great Grandchildren; Kooper Kennedy, Samuel and Levi Leece, Keller, Rowan, and Waylon Devine, Ehvah Irwin, Fox and Wil Brooks and Megan Hurst. She was preceded in death by her husband; Arthur D. Kennedy and Parents. She Retired from being an Executive Assistant at Indiana Bell. Betty enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Service at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN, at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, with Pastor Carl Coffey Officiating.
The Visitation will be on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Mortuary.
Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
