Betty Ann Fordyce

Betty Ann Fordyce, 90, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on April 18, 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on February 23, 1926 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. 

Survivors include her son Stuart Fordyce; daughters Carol Fordyce and Cathy Maddox; brothers Ray (Cheryl) Wachsmuth, Jr and Terry Wachsmuth; grandchildren Drew Maddox, Nicholas Fordyce, Connor Fordyce and Amanda Fordyce as well as 1 great grandchild Lyra Maddox.  

Betty is preceded in death by her grandparents Hugo & Anna Wachsmuth, her parents Ray & Mary Wachsmuth, her son Eric Fordyce, her brother Don Wachsmuth as well as Paul Fordyce.  

Betty was employed for many years as a Bookkeeper.  She took great pride in being a Master Gardener and a member of the Speedway Christian Church.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, working puzzles, cooking, gardening and creating stained glass art.   She is remembered by her family as having lived a long life and enjoyed spending time with her family.
