Alta Lee (Lindquist, Engel) Logan

Alta Lee (Lindquist, Engel) Logan, 90 of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 4:15 am after a short stay in Spring Mill Meadows. She was born in Gaddacap, Arkansas on October 13, 1922 to Caroline (Brown) Logan and Jacob Stephen Logan. She was raised in Axtell, TX one of four brothers and three sisters.
On December 18, 1942 she married Frank Nils Lindquist of Frankfort, IN. Three children were born to this marriage and survive today. Alta was a member of the First Baptist Church of Indianapolis, but in past years she had been an active member of Galveston First Baptist and Bunker Hill First Baptist Churche respectively.
She retired from Memcore in Peru, IN. In 2009 she came to live with her daughter Carolyn Sue (Lindquist) Peck of Indianapolis. She leaves behind eldest son Rev. Mitchell Nils Lindquist and wife, Wanda Jean (Taylor) Lindquist of Cincinnati, OH and youngest son, Jerry Lee Lindquist and wife, Linda Fay(Thieke) Lindquist of Miami, IN and Daughter, Carolyn Sue (Lindquist) Peck of Indianapolis. She had five grandchildren, Ruth Ann (Lindquist) Jones of Cincinnati, OH, Daivd Nils and wife ,Nadine (Getty) Lindquust of Cincinnati, OH, Peter Michael wife, Molly(McClintock) Lindquist of Maineville, OH, Ty Martin Lindquist and Brian Lee Lindquist (deceased) of Miami, IN and four Great Grandchildren, two boys and two girls.
