Allison Dee (Carroll) Sturgeon

Allison Dee Sturgeon , 60, Bloomfield, IN passed away February 24, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN. She was born April 4, 1961 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Survivors include husband, Robert Sturgeon; daughter, Vanessa Scott; step-daughters, Sarah Sorsaburu and Rachel Sturgeon; sisters Marsha Carroll, Teresa Carroll, , Kelly Bianchinpi, Leslie Carroll and Molly Chapman; brother, David Carroll; 1 grandchild.

Preceded in death by parents, Ellison Edward Carroll and Delores Dee Carroll; brother, John Carroll; sister, Julie Carroll.

Allison was employed at Indiana University. She had earned her Masters of Science Degree from Indiana University. She was a member of the Osage Nation and a member of the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. Her hobbies included mountain biking, camping, hiking, Osage family history, spending time with her family, gardening and reading.

Celebration of Life will be held at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church East, 2700 E. Rogers Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Officiating will be pastor Allen Phillps.
