Ronnie and I were baseball teammates at GWHS. The past couple of years we were able to reconnect through The Indianapolis Oldtimers Club banquets. I was unaware of his passing until my recent efforts to reach him though email and telephone messages. I recall spending time with Ronnie during our friendship in HS. In particular, one New Years Eve (probably 1959) spent at his home in Eagledale. I regret I was unaware of his passing until researching obituaries today. He was a true gentleman who loved to talk about his family and he will be missed.

Ron Mann and I met in 1980. The company was reorganizing its management groups.
We interviewed each other at his home. I met his children and he shared with me his past successes, awards and prizes. I knew he would be an excellent addition to the Eastern Division.
I worked with and taught Ron the way our company worked and sold. He refined those thoughts to fit Ron Mann. I watched and worked with him as he rose in accomplishments with the company. He was well loved by his customers and respected by his peers, yet humble in his accomplishments. I was very proud when he was installed in the Hall of Fame and I was able to present him with his ring.
I visited him this summer in the hospital and he was visiting with a customer who had brought him an order. What customers visit their salesman in the hospital to place an order. What a MAN.
We will miss him. God took him too soon. I guess God needed him more.
I wish I could be there.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Ron. I knew him as a baseball umpire for many years. It was always a pleasure to see his smile as he came onto the field to work a game. He always came to do his best for the players and coaches, which was appreciated. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences on the passing of husband, father, and grandfather, Ron Mann. I knew Ron only because of the IUA and felt it a privilege to have known him. I do know that Lenny appreciated all the hard work he did each year, especially with arranging the Umpire Golf Tournament/Outing for our annual Awards Picnic. Ron was a good guy - he made me laugh, consoled me when I was feeling down, and his hugs were always welcome. God bless each of you at this time and always.

Kim and James, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. When I have thought of your dad over the years, a smile has always come to my face remembering the wonderful times I had with him and your mom in my days at Buck Creek. I will always treasure my friendship with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you both and your families.

Ron will be missed so much by us here at Partsmaster. No matter if you were a veteran sales rep or brand new, Ron would make sure to take the time to make you feel special and welcomed. You would always leave his presence feeling better than before you met. I will never forget Ron "The Man" Mann
