Ralph Lloyd Baugh

Ralph Lloyd Baugh, 77, of New Palestine, IN passed away February 16, 2018. He was born January 10, 1941 in Foster, KY to parents Susan K. (Brooks) and Reverend O. P. Baugh. Survivors include son, Mike Baugh; daughters, Terri (Terry Sprinkle) Haynes and Kristy (Ryan) Willhelm; grandchildren: Kailey (Andrew) Heighway, Kyle (Nikki) Willhelm, Cassidy Willhelm, Dion Sprinkle-Bouchard; brother, Robert Baugh; sister, Virginia (Jim) Colter; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Paul.

Ralph graduated from New Salem High School in 1958 and attended Purdue University. He was self-employed.

He was an exceptional athlete in his younger days and remained an avid sports fan. He was a firm supporter of the Purdue Boilermakers. He enjoyed playing euchre, reading, gardening, singing, playing the guitar and banjo and spending as much time as possible with family, his children and grandchildren. He loved a good political debate, had a goofy sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. His strong faith in God always remained an important part of his life.

The family wishes to send sincerest thanks to the staff of Rosegate Memory Care Cottage for their love and special attention during the past year. Their commitment to excellent care will never be forgotten.

A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
