Michael E. Schmidt, Sr. (1951 - 2017), age 65, peacefully passed away March 29, 2017. He was born October 1, 1951 in Madison, IN. to Carl and Mary Schmidt (Hunt). He is survived by wife Pam, daughter Alana, son Michael, mother Mary-Beth, sister Mickie, grandchildren Britney, Hannah, Damon, Devin and Haylie, mother-in-law Charlotte and brother-in-law Bud.
Graduate of North Central High School in 1971. Michael served 8 years in the Indiana National Guard. He worked for Duncan Supply Company for 44 years. He loved fishing and I.U. basketball. He was a member of the White River Yacht Club for 40 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society or White River Yacht Club Foundation, Inc.
Service April 2, 2017 at Evanston Wesleyan Church at 2:00 p.m. with a celebration of life immediately following at the White River Yacht Club.
