Wayne Gordon Groves

Wayne Gordon Groves, 78, of Indianapolis passed away February 1, 2018. He was born August 9, 1939 in Portland, TN to parents Bessie L. (Searcy) and Jesse L. Groves. Survivors include: wife, Edith P. Groves; sons, Danny L. (Roberta) Groves of Whiteland, IN and Carl D. (Dave) (Phyllis) Groves of Indianapolis; daughter, Peggy J. (Lloyd) Phelps of Somerset, KY; many grandchildren great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents; father-in-law, John Andrews; mother-in-law, Nellie Andrews; brothers, Herbert, Hylas, Harold and Gary.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Officiating will be Pastor Carl Coffey. Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, IN.
