Tim was a remarkable wildlife technician and a great guy. I worked with Tim on our deer reduction at Eagle Creek Park in 2014-2015. If it weren't for Tim, we couldn't have gotten this important program rolling. The flora, fauna, and naturalists thank you, Tim! Sincerely, Brittany

i have known tim for several years...spent a FTA convention in Mesa, AR working the NWCOA booth with him one year. So sorry when i heard about him passing away. Our industry has suffered a great loss...he truly was and will still be, an icon in it. So many things have came to be from the hard work he has put into research and trial/error. I will miss him greatly as will the rest of the NWCO world.

Dear Uncle Tim,
I know you weren't my uncle by blood and as a child your beard was scary, but you were a loving uncle all the same! You were a kind, thoughtful man who loved his family and worked hard.

Dear Aunt Shelly,
I can only imagine how you feel. I wish I could be there in person for you and the rest of the family.

I love you both.

To Tim's family,

First let me say that I was very sorry to learn of Tim's passing, and want to add my expression of sympathy to the many you have received. I'm sure he will be missed by his family and many friends.

I first became acquainted with Tim somewhere around 25 years ago. I have appreciated his professionalism and knowledge in the animal control business as we collaborated many times over the years. I always appreciated his helpfulness and friendliness. I've always been a big believer in continuing education, and Tim was all about learning himself and helping others learn through, for example, trapping seminars and education days. I was surprised one day when attending a wildlife damage management conference in Corpus Christi, TX, to see Tim at the conference. I admired his dedication to education. Our most frequent contact was through dealing with Canada goose complaints in the Lafayette area. I have missed talking with Tim since my retirement in July 2015, and all will miss Tim's valuable input into the wildlife damage community. Again, I am sorry for your loss. May God grant you comfort in the months ahead.

I was saddened to hear of Tim's passing. He was a leader in the fledgling wildlife control industry when it needed him the most. We had some long talks over the years and I appreciated his intellect, perception, and passion. He will be missed.

Tim was a true friend and mentor to many WCOs as the industry began to develop, include me. He was always there when I needed help or advice. In fact, he was very instrumental in helping get the Colorado Wildlife Control Operators Association (CWCOA) up and running. We had many common interests and shared many enjoyable times together. He will be missed!

It is with unbelievable sadness that I have lost a very good friend and hunting buddy - Tim Julien. I first met Tim in 1996 while working for the Dept. of Natural Resources at Fort Harrison State Park. We had a lot in common as hunters, trappers, and outdoorsmen. It has always been a life long dream to elk hunt in the Rocky Mountains. Tim and I made the 28 hour trip to New Mexico, and we both bagged our elks. During the entire trip out there and back, we talked the whole way (the radio was never on). We talked about life, our families, our kids, our successes, our failures, and our deep belief in God. It was an adventure and a great hunt. Prior to this, we joined the Hallauer family in numerous duck and pheasant hunts in South Dakota. The pictures below are just a couple from these hunts. After learning the news of his passing, I had the meltdown that comes with the loss. Then, I started looking back at all of the good times we all had together, and I started to celebrate his life and what he has meant to me. When I shot my elk, there we were on the mountain. It was something I will never forget. I know that you have moved to God's mountain my friend. I thank you for the difference you have made in my life.

There will be a huge empty space in our lives with Tim's passing; just as knowing him and sharing things with him was a huge blessing.
His personal legacy is clear, and his impact on national and international wildlife affairs will be felt for decades.

I'm so sorry to hear about Tim. I met Tim originally many years ago at a national wildlife seminar. He was very friendly to me and willing to freely exchange stories and information about wildlife management. I'm very sad to hear of his passing. I always looked up to him as a founder of our industry and someone that always shared their knowledge to help folks out any way he could. He sent me some business here and there. Tim and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am extremely saddened to learn of Tim's passing. I always called myself his favorite client. I referred to him as the "Best Wildlife Man in Indiana". He has partnered with me for years to combat more creatures than I care to list. He was a joy. Though I never met his family, he spoke lovingly of you often. I will keep you all in my prayers.
