Nellie "Faye" (Williams) Crum

Nellie "Faye" Crum, 88, went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2015. Born near Trezvant, TN on July 2, 1927, she grew up in East Prairie, MO. She married Cletus Crum on May 23, 1942 . They moved to Indiana and settled in Merrillville for many years. Faye was always a wife, homemaker, and mother who dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

After Cletus retired, they moved several times between Indiana and Illinois before they settled back in, and around, East Prairie, MO. She returned later to Indiana to be near family, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Cletus, and will be buried next to him in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie, MO. Also preceeded in death by a son, Daniel Crum, her father and mother, Daniel Williams and Lessie Williams, brothers Jessie Williams, Arnold Williams and Baby Boy Williams, and sisters Phyllis Crum and Caresse Neal and a great-granddaughter Carla McCloud.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley (Orlyn) Mogler of New Palestine, IN, a son, Gary (Becky) Crum of DeMotte, IN, a brother, Gayle (Kathy) Williams of Betrand, MO. Grandchildren, David, Tammy, Cindy, Christian, Katie, Ross, Sarah and Aaron. Great-grandchildren Krista, Ed, Jacob, Carolyn, Amanda, Adaila, Alyssa, Gabriel and Abel. Great-great-grandchildren Leah, Matthew, Abigal, Nathaniel, Aaron and Joshua. Also, a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, MO on November 12, 2015 from 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. and a Funeral Service at 1:00p.m., Officiated by Rev. George White.

Burial to follow at Dogwood Cemetery.
