Gerald D. Wilcher

Gerald D. “Bump” Wilcher, 75, Fountaintown, IN passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019.  He was born on April 4, 1944 in Acton, IN.  He was the owner/operator of Wilcher Variety Bait and Tackle.   He is survived by sons, Jearl “Tim" Wilcher, Annelle (Red), Tommy (Toni) Wilcher, Tracy (Tina) Wilcher, Jeff (Carrie) Wilcher; sister, Anna-Lee Hoyt; grandchildren, Aaron, Ashton, Tyler, J.T., Carrigan, Dylan, Jeffrey Jr., Tracy Jean, Jacob, Justin, McKayla, Brett, Gavin, Jessica; great-grandson, Leo; sister-in-laws, Dottie Wilcher, Donna Wilcher; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Gerald was preceded in death by wife, Janet Wilcher; parents, Matt G. and Elizabeth Wilcher; brothers, Matt Jr, Lawrence, Cleo, Vernon Wilcher; sister, Violet Mattingly.

Services will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN  46130, with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service at the mortuary.  Officiating the service will be Pastor Carl Coffey.

 Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery.
