George Nelson "Nick" Scoble, JR., of New Palestine, IN, passed away October 1, 2017. He was born February 10, 1941 in East Stroudsburg, PA to parents Florence E. (Marean) and George N. Scoble,SR. Survivors include wife, Nancy (Wilson) Scoble; daughters, Elizabeth (Justin) Bennett of Chicago and Emily (Malachi) Vahle of New Palestine; brother, Edward (Lucille) Scoble; grandchildren, Cameron Vahle, Zachary Vahle, Wyatt Vahle, and Samantha Joan Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, David Scoble.
He served in the Army, and was retired from the Indiana Dept. of Revenue after 18 years. He enjoyed Theology, carpentry and history.
Services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130. Visitation will be Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Officiating will be Pastor Carl Coffey.
