Rich & Kristi - Our hearts were crushed yesterday, when we learned of Abby's death from Shan Caldwell at The Creek. Words fall so short in providing comfort or expressing our profound sorrow for your loss. As much as it hurts, as much despair that wells up inside, as much as you don't understand and cry out to God in anger, "Why," choose to run toward him and not away. This world has nothing to heal your soul. Only our heavenly Father can fill that space. Run to him. Crawl up in his lap. Bury your face in his chest. Let him wrap his loving arms around you and rest. We pray that the Holy Spirit will fall on you and provide a peace that surpasses all understanding. If there is anything we can do, even the smallest thing of grocery shopping or yard work, please just ask. Your friends and servants in Christ - Stan & Laura Bryan

Although I have never met the Rejer children, I knew Rich as a student at LN. I am sure Abigail and his other children reflect the character of their parents. I cannot imagine losing a child, and my thoughts and the thoughts of many LN faculty are with you.

Sister Thea Bowman, who died on March 30th described the life of my beautiful Abby's life best when she wrote this inspirational statement.
"Lord, let me live until I die. By that I mean I want to live, love and serve fully until death comes.
